Orange County art museums reported no damage to their collections. “Most of us didn’t know it happened,” said Maxine Gaiber at the Newport Harbor Art Museum.
But there was a bit of a shake at the South Coast Repertory in Costa Mesa.
“Talley’s Folly” was in technical rehearsal with no audience. So what happened? “Just your usual swinging chandeliers,” said Juliette Christian, a theater receptionist.
