Laurel Tree Investment Co., Irvine, sold 55 acres in Carlsbad for $10.5 million to Brennan-Katkov Development Corp. in San Diego.
The developer plans to build 160 single-family homes selling for about $275,000 each on the acreage at Palomar Airport Road and College Avenue.
