Saddleback College quarterback Scott Stark has accepted an athletic scholarship to attend the University of Pittsburgh, Saddleback announced Thursday.
Stark graduated from Capistrano Valley High School in 1986 and signed a letter-of-intent with Stanford. He was red-shirted in 1986, then played very little in 1987. Stark left Stanford last summer and enrolled at Saddleback.
Stark won the starting Saddleback job after 4 games and led the team to an 8-3 record. He completed 120 of 248 passes for 1,824 yards, with 7 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. He is already attending classes at Pittsburgh and will participate in spring drills.
