About 7,500 gallons of sewage spilled into Point Loma’s Famosa Slough on Friday after a backup in a sewage line, county health officials reported.
The spill occurred in the 4200 block of Montalvo Street when grease and other solids blocked the line, causing the overflow.
Warning signs were posted for 50 yards along the slough.
