William R. Sala has been appointed vice president and general manager for Archive Corp.’s Original Equipment Manufacturers Products Division. The Costa Mesa company recently formed the division to focus on established customers’ specific needs for tape drive storage devices. Sala previously was vice president, international business development, for Western Digital Corp. Before that, he held senior management positions with Gavilan Computer, a laptop computer company, and Computer Storage Technology. He also was president of Remex, a division of Ex-Cell-O Corp.
