In another men’s basketball game:

Biola 66, The Master’s 60--The Master’s led the nonconference game, 54-53, with 3 minutes to play. But Kevin Hood hit 2 3-point shots, 1 in the final minute, to give host Biola its 36th consecutive win over The Master’s dating to 1965.

Brandle Studevan led Biola (17-4) with 17 points. Hood finished with 11.

Jason Webster scored 12 points to lead Master’s (10-10).

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

Point Loma Nazarene 68, Cal Lutheran 65--Junior guard Brenda Lee’s basket gave the Regals a 1-point lead with 14 seconds left, but Shannon Anderson converted 2 free throws for the decisive points in the GSAC game at Cal Lutheran.

Lee had 21 points and 13 rebounds.

Pomona-Pitzer 57, The Master’s 46--Liz Peters (18 points) and Lara Boyd (17 points, 9 rebounds) teamed to lead Pomona in a nonconference game at Master’s.

Master’s (4-13) was led by Kim Vargas (16 points) and Laural Hudgens (10).

BOYS’ BASKETBALL

Notre Dame 104, Chaminade 71--Notre Dame improved to 5-0 in San Fernando Valley League play by shooting a blistering 84% in the second half.

Notre Dame (11-8) outscored Chaminade, 66-36, in the second half and made 41 of 65 field-goal attempts overall (63%).

BOYS’ SOCCER

Simi Valley 2, Royal 0--Sophomore forward Mike Hall scored 2 second-half goals in the Marmonte League game.

Agoura 4, Nordhoff 1--Dominic Zapata scored 2 goals and Chris Pittenger and Jon Moellendick each scored 1 as first-place Agoura rallied from a 1-0 deficit in a Frontier League match at Nordhoff.

St. Francis 2, St. John Bosco 0--Darko Dragocevic and David Beall each scored for St. Francis (13-1), which recorded a school-record 13th win in a row.

Harvard 1, Bell-Jeff 0--Midfielder Jerome Schwartz scored 29 minutes into the second half to give the Saracens a San Fernando Valley League win.

Burroughs 2, Pasadena 1--Jose Beltran scored the game-winning goal midway through the second half on an assist by Danny Suarez to give host Burroughs a Foothill League win.
