Feminist author-activist Andrea Dworkin lost her attempt to have the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals reverse a district court’s dismissal of her $150-million lawsuit against Hustler magazine for libel, invasion of privacy and “outrage.” The appellate court said in San Francisco that derogatory use of a public figure’s name by a pornographic publication does not constitute libel.
