Venezuelan officials are seeking $2 billion in new credits from banks and another $600 in bridge financing, banking and monetary sources said. Venezuela, currently in talks with its bank advisory committee, already owes $32 billion to foreign banks and agencies. The country plans to announce a new economic program after President-elect Carlos Andres Perez is inaugurated next week, officials said.
