In another Orange League game:
Savanna 56, Western 42--Senior guard Michelle Drew scored 18 points and forward Jackie Boxley added 11 points and 11 rebounds to pace visiting Savanna (14-6, 4-2).
Center Lisa Rios grabbed 15 rebounds and 5-foot, 3-inch guard Carrie Frederick had 10 points, 5 assists and 12 rebounds for Savanna, which clinched a playoff spot.
Center Vicki Evans scored 17 points for Western (2-4).
In the Angelus League:
Mater Dei 38, Bishop Amat 32--Forward Cori Martin had 16 points and 9 rebounds, and Kelly O’Brien added 8 points and 12 rebounds to pace Mater Dei (16-5, 6-0).
Host Bishop Amat (12-7, 3-3) was led by center Stacy Oughton with 15 points and 13 rebounds.
In the Century League:
Foothill 52, Santa Ana 24--Center Tanya Foxe scored 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to pace host Foothill (12-8, 5-1).
Forward Sandi Rasmussen added 10 points and 9 rebounds off the bench and guard Stacia Allen had 10 points for Foothill. Forward Gracie Lopez led Santa Ana (8-9, 1-5) in scoring with 10 points.
Santa Ana Valley 43, Villa Park 33--Santa Ana Valley shut out host Villa Park, 10-0, in the first quarter and kept that margin until the final buzzer. Forward Francesca Rumps led Santa Ana Valley (4-2) with 21 points and forward Susannah Thrasher paced Villa Park (6-10, 2-4) with 10 points.
In the Empire League:
Loara 59, El Dorado 23--Tracy Titus, Michelle Rolland, Jennifer Leonard and Traci Verven scored 12 points each for host Loara (14-9, 4-2). Titus also had 15 rebounds and Leonard grabbed 10. Wendee Luke led El Dorado (3-9, 0-6) with 8 points.
Cypress 41, Esperanza 32--Sheryl Murakoski had a game-high 14 points to lead Cypress at Esperanza. Kim Korkik had 10 points and 6 rebounds to lead Esperanza (6-12, 2-4).
In the Freeway League:
Fullerton 74, Buena Park 62--Center Lynn Gilbert scored 21 points and had 13 rebounds, and point guard Jenny Comstock added 17 points to lead visiting Fullerton (11-6, 5-1). Forward Sandy Bodnar led Buena Park (3-2) with 17 points.
In the Pacific Coast League:
Woodbridge 53, Costa Mesa 31--Visiting Woodbridge turned a 3-point halftime lead into an 11-point margin after 3 quarters en route to its sixth league victory without a defeat.
Point guard Leslie Rathbun had 14 points and guard Kim Dean added 12 for Woodbridge (16-5, 6-0). Senior forward Maureen Moore scored 9 points for Costa Mesa (2-4), including a 3-pointer.
Orange 66, Trabuco Hills 57--Nicole Champion scored 17 points and had 16 rebounds and Ginna Hall had 14 points to lead host Orange (11-7, 4-2). Tracy Hamner had 10 assists, which tied a single-game Orange records, and 5 points.
In the Sea View League:
University 53, Corona del Mar 30--Shelley Davis scored 15 points to lead host University (16-5, 5-1). Tara Wolff, a freshman center for University, had 12 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks.
In the South Coast League:
El Toro 74, Irvine 39--Kristen Bevis and Sara Bone scored 21 points each to lead host El Toro (13-8, 4-2). Karie Yoshioka, El Toro’s point guard, had 16 points, 6 assists and 7 steals.
Mission Viejo 65, Dana Hills 25--Jennifer Rohrig scored 19 points and had 8 rebounds to lead host Mission Viejo (18-3, 6-0). Tina Ranker scored 13 points and had 8 assists and Kristin Okura scored 11 points for Mission Viejo.
