Litton Unit Gets Contract

Litton Industries said its Precision Gear division in Chicago got an $84.2-million subcontractor order from Boeing Co.’s helicopters division for the production of gears and transmission housings for U.S. Army CH-47D Chinook helicopters.
The three-year contract is for 144 shipsets plus spares.
