TV and stage actor John Rubinstein is going to Broadway to take over David Dukes’ role in the hit play “M. Butterfly.” Dukes who has been playing the French diplomat who falls in love with a Peking Opera star who turns out to be a man, is leaving the show for personal reasons. He will make his final appearance Feb. 18, and Rubinstein moves in Feb. 20.
