Tekelec said it has named Stephen Loring to the position of vice president of sales. Loring, 34, will be responsible for Tekelec’s worldwide sales, excluding Japan. He was formerly vice president of sales and marketing for a San Jose computer company.
Tekelec also announced the appointment of Robert Hess to the newly created position of director of corporate marketing. Hess, 33, has been with Tekelec for eight years.
Based in Calabasas, Tekelec makes equipment to test telecommunications and data communications products.
