Reagan’s $50,000 Fee for Speaking

I have a wonderful idea. True to ex-President Reagan’s stated philosophy that all the needs of the poor--those few who are not in that condition by choice--can be fully addressed by voluntary giving, let him donate the $50,000 fee for each of his addresses to charity.
An additional contribution of $1 million out of the $5 million royalty from his two books might be set aside for a campaign to promote the cause of unfettered free enterprise (Part I, Jan. 26).
