The “Japanese Fantasy” dinner and auction on Feb. 11 at the Sheraton Newport Beach raised an estimated $12,000 for the Carmen chapter of the Guilds of the Orange County Performing Arts Center. Tomiko Pearce was chairwoman.
The “Membership Banquet and Sportsman of the Year Awards Night” on Feb. 7 at the Irvine Marriott raised an estimated $50,000 for CHOC Padrinos’ Childrens Hospital Foundation of Orange County. Dean Sanberg was chairman.
