Offices of Salvadoran Union Bombed; 1 Hurt

SAN SALVADOR — The offices of El Salvador’s largest anti-government union, National Unity of Salvadoran Workers, were bombed Wednesday, wounding one person and causing serious damage.
The Maximilano Hernandez death squad, an extreme rightist orgnaziation, claimed responsibility for the bombing.
It left behind a communique that said a new anti-Communist unit, the People’s Counter-Revolutionary Army, carried out the attack.
