Valley College Forfeits Men’s Basketball Game

Valley College, reduced to four players in uniform, forfeited a Western State Conference men’s basketball game to Glendale on Wednesday at Valley.
“It was a lousy way to win or lose,” Glendale assistant Jack Giles said.
Glendale improved to 17-11, 8-5 in conference play with two games remaining. Valley dropped to 17-13, 7-6.
Valley Coach Jim Stephens was unavailable for comment.
