Trojans Play at Arizona State Today

USC’s basketball team will try to end a 13-game losing streak when the Trojans play at Arizona State today.
Arizona State is coming off a 93-86 win over UCLA, and USC Coach George Raveling thinks that the Sun Devils may overlook the Trojans.
“Last year when we went in to play Cal after Cal had upset UCLA, I told the kids before the game we were definitely going to win,” Raveling said. “The day after Cal beat UCLA all anybody was talking about was UCLA. There was nobody going up to them and saying, ‘that was a good win but beat USC.’ And we went in and upset Cal last year.”
Obviously, Raveling is hoping history repeats itself.
USC is 7-17 overall and 0-12 in the Pacific 10 Conference. Arizona State is 12-11 overall and 5-9 in the Pac-10. The Sun Devils are 2-2 under interim Coach Bob Schermerhorn, who replaced Steve Patterson.
