Boy, 6, Accidentally Kills Israeli Cabbie

JERUSALEM — A 6-year-old playing with his father’s handgun Monday shot and killed a taxi driver, a news agency reported.
The child was waving his father’s 9-millimeter pistol outside the window of the family car when the gun went off, fatally wounding taxi driver Zecharia Krobim, 53, of Ashkelon, in the head, the Itim news agency said.
The father and son were not identified, and the father was charged with negligence, Itim said.
The father said he did not realize his son had removed the pistol from a front-seat compartment, the agency reported.
