The son of a man and woman who died of multiple stab wounds was arrested for investigation of murder as he tried to ride away from the family’s San Luis Obispo home on a bicycle, even though the house was surrounded by police officers, authorities said. Ronald Wade McClave’s parents, Larry McClave, 49, and Helen McClave, 47, were found dead or dying when officers arrived at the home, Capt. Bart Topham said. Police gave no motive for the slayings. The younger McClave, 24, lived with his parents. Larry McClave was a member of the San Luis Obispo Architectural Review Commission and was employed by the county.
