STOCKHOLM — Sweden’s public telephone company next year will offer computer terminals to households instead of telephone directories, opening the way for services such as electronic mail and bank transactions, a spokesman said Tuesday. Telephone company official Tor Krusell said the trial use of the Videotex system, involving 100 households, was successful.
