Dreyer’s Gets Rights to Distribute Rival Brand

OAKLAND — Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream Inc. said it acquired exclusive distribution rights for Ben & Jerry’s Homemade Ice Cream products in New York City, Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester counties in New York, and also in northern New Jersey.
Dreyer’s purchased the rights and other assets for $3.1 million in cash plus future consideration based upon sales volume in the next three years.
