South Korean dissident Moon Ik Hwan, on an unauthorized visit to North Korea, will face legal action carrying a maximum penalty of death when he returns, a government spokesman said. Moon, a 71-year-old Presbyterian minister, arrived in Pyongyang, capital of North Korea, on Saturday with an undisclosed number of his followers for reunification talks with President Kim Il Sung. A senior prosecutor was quoted by state radio as saying that Moon’s trip violates South Korea’s national security law, which bans all pro-Communist activities.
