3 Rescued After Car Hits Barricades, Falls Into Hole

HOUSTON — A woman, her daughter and grandchild were rescued after they were trapped in a car that veered off a street, smashed through barricades and plunged into a 45-foot-deep hole being dug for a storm sewer, officials said Sunday. The three were taken to a hospital.
