W. Los Angeles : Car-Pool Lane for Freeway

The Los Angeles County Transportation Commission has approved $61 million for construction of a 26-mile car-pool lane on the San Diego Freeway from the Marina Freeway to the Orange County border.
The funds are part of a $1.7-billion program to improve freeways and relieve congestion. Construction is scheduled between July 1, 1990, and July 1, 1994.
