Justice Sandra Day O’Connor should resign from the Supreme Court now. Having revealed her concept and philosophy in her “Christian nation” letter to a friend, it will be impossible for Justice O’Connor to act in the way a justice must under our Constitution which separates church and state (Part I, March 16).
Indiscreet is far too mild a word to describe a Supreme Court justice who puts such a secular belief in writing.
