NATION : Chinese Warship to Visit Hawaii

BEIJING — A Chinese warship will visit Hawaii next month, the first American port call by a Chinese war vessel, the U.S. Embassy announced today.
A U.S. official said the United States would probably send one of its ships to China in May.
Ambassador Winston Lord said a training ship of the People’s Liberation Army will visit Pearl Harbor on April 11. Vice Admiral Ma Xinchun will be aboard, he said.
