After a protest by Israel, the International Table Tennis Federation placed the Pakistan men’s team last in its group for missing a match at the World Table Tennis Championships at Dortmund, West Germany.
Pakistan was scheduled to play Israel in a second-round match Friday night, but did not show up in time, according to organizers of the championship. Pakistan forfeited the match.
