Pro-Choice Marchers

What irony. A Times headline (April 10) declares “Rally Strives to Project Voice of Silent Majority” (Part I, Page 15), describing the hundreds of thousands of abortion rights advocates who have marched on Washington to preserve that right.
The voice of the real silent majority of over 20 million conveniently sacrificed unborn babies is hooted down by the aforementioned advocates when Christians and other pro-lifers try to reverse this anguishing trend.
If we women are finally so advanced and responsible for our own bodies, why can’t we be responsible for preventing unwanted pregnancies? Any woman with access to abortion information has the same access to contraceptives at far less risk to her body and health.
Women’s rights are not being served at all, only women’s convenience.
