Trump Discloses Sale of Caesars Stake: Donald J. Trump has disclosed to New Jersey casino regulators that he sold his 2.5% interest in Caesars World about a month ago for $18.1 million--for a profit of $3.3 million--and would not attempt a takeover. Trump, who owns casinos in Atlantic City, notified federal antitrust agencies in December that he intended to buy 15% of Caesars World and might seek 50% control of the firm, which has casinos in Las Vegas and Atlantic City. This week, seeking renewal of his New Jersey casino license, he agreed not to invest in competing casino companies without the state’s approval.
