LOCAL : Brea Man Found Dead at Golf Course

The body of a 31-year-old Brea man was found this morning at the Fullerton Golf Course next to a curb near the Harbor Boulevard entrance to the facility, police said.
Sgt. Michael Maynard and Sgt. John Patropulos, two off-duty Fullerton police officers, found the fully clothed body of Walter Lothorp about a quarter of a mile from the golf course’s entrance at 8 a.m. today, Fullerton Police Officer Cecil Reece said.
According to preliminary autopsy reports, Lothorp died of an apparent overdose, Reece said.
