USIU’s International Ballet to Perform

The United States International University’s International Ballet program this weekend at Lyceum Theatre will include choreographer Elizabeth Wistrich’s staging of “Carmina Burana,” set to the medieval chants of Carl Orff’s score, and “Mozart Concerto,” a classical ballet accompanied by the USIU orchestra. The company will also premiere James Kelly’s ballet “Preludes, Passages and Epilogues.” The three-performance run, danced by an 11-member ensemble, will begin Friday at 8 p.m. and repeat Saturday at 2 and 8 p.m.
