Amusement Parks for Asia: Ride & Show Engineering Inc., a San Dimas-based designer of theme parks, has helped form Futurist Ride & Show, a joint venture with two Japanese firms, Toyo Engineering Corp. and Sekitei Kaihatsu Co. The new company will develop rides and entertainment centers in East Asia. Sekitei Kaihatsu, a hotel and restaurant operator that recently purchased the Bel Air Hotel, invested $7 million in Ride & Show, receiving a 13.25% interest in the company.
