Gareth C.C. Chang, senior vice president of marketing and planning for McDonnell Douglas Information Systems Co. in Irvine, has been named vice president-Asia/Pacific operations for the St. Louis-based parent firm, McDonnell Douglas Corp. Chang, who will move to Hong Kong, will oversee McDonnell Douglas’ operations in China and head up the Asia/Pacific portion of a newly formed task force that will plan international strategy for the company. Chang joined McDonnell Douglas in 1973; his promotion is effective Sunday.
McDonnell Douglas also announced the election of Kenneth M. Duberstein, former White House chief of staff for President Ronald Reagan, to the corporation’s board.
