Einhorn Paces Riverside Past Titans, 9-5

Scott Einhorn had three hits, including a home run, as UC Riverside defeated Cal State Fullerton, 9-5, Tuesday in a nonconference baseball game at Fullerton.
Einhorn, who had four runs batted in, hit a three-run homer in the third inning to give Riverside (23-26) a 7-2 lead. Fullerton scored three in the bottom of the inning on an RBI double by Bobby Jones and a two-run single by John Paboojian.
Riverside scored two in the sixth to take a 9-5 lead. Logan Ostrander had an RBI single and Scott Hayward drove in a run with a groundout.
Jeff Goodale had four hits and an RBI for Riverside. Rod Klopfer had a two-run homer for Fullerton (30-24).
