Liska says O’Day’s 1981 autobiography is “High Life, Hard Times.” The correct title is “High Times, Hard Times”--and to sensationalize O’Day’s well-publicized battle with drugs is to do an incredible injustice to one of the true--one of the only--survivors of the swing era.
