Motorcyclist Dies in Collision With Truck

A man was killed Sunday when the motorcycle he was riding collided head-on with a truck in Lancaster, authorities said.
The motorcyclist, Roger Wronkowski, 35, of Lancaster lost control of his cycle as he was traveling north on Sierra Highway and crossed into a southbound lane near Avenue H, Sgt. Terry Lewis of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said. The cyclist was traveling at about 60 m.p.h. when he hit the truck, authorities said.
The driver of the truck, Clifton McDouglas of Lancaster, was not injured, Lewis said, but was taken to Antelope Valley Hospital for observation because of a heart condition.
