Laguna Hills High School, which has won 19 of its past 20 games, is the top-ranked team in the final Orange County Sportswriters’ Assn. prep baseball poll.
Laguna Hills (22-4) becomes the sixth team in six years to win the county’s mythical championship, following El Dorado (1988), Esperanza (1987), Sonora (1986), Mater Dei (1985) and Capistrano Valley (1984).
