‘Furious’ About Views on University

Re: the Ann L. Davis letter, I must question the “source” of two of her statements: that “most of the students in our colleges come from foreign countries” and that “we already have a surplus of colleges, all fighting to get more students.”
And, finally, her closing sentence: “Taxpayers . . . can send their laundry to China to get washed.”
Since Ms. Davis seems to infer that our high school graduates are too stupid to get into our colleges, I suggest that all those foreign students bring their laundry to her and she can then open her very own Laundromat.
Ms. Davis couldn’t have meant to be racist, could she?
