Reader’s Lament: Three Sports Are Two Too Many
- Share via
Baseball continues to suffer at the hands of basketball and hockey and those sports’ playoff systems that extend far into our national pastime’s season.
With all the talk of escalating baseball players’ salaries, will the time ever come when hockey and basketball will be asked to share those higher costs? After all, they must be cutting into baseball’s revenue.
The only credible solution that will affect the owners is the gullible fan not supporting such a phony system.
