“Summer Outreach Splash,” a family picnic and carnival sponsored by Outreach of the Building Industry, will be held June 4 at Lion Country Safari’s Wild Rivers Park/Eagle Country, Laguna Hills.
Proceeds from the noon to 6 p.m. event, which is open to the public, will benefit Orange County family-related charities, according to Dennis Sundstrom of the Outreach group.
Formed in 1987, Outreach of the Building Industry is a Santa Ana-based educational and research organization of representatives from the Commercial Industrial Development Assn., the National Assn. of Office and Industrial Parks, the Building Industry Assn., the Sales and Marketing Council and the Home Builders Council.
Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for children under 16, with children under 3 admitted free. Admission includes unlimited use of 16 water rides, a picnic lunch and entertainment by clowns and musicians. Tickets are available at Ticketmaster centers, including May Co. and Music Plus or can be charged by telephone at (714) 740-2000.
