Five-time Emmy Award-winning actress Carol Burnett will team with Matt Williams, the creator and former executive producer of “Roseanne,” for a half-hour comedy series for mid-season, NBC said Tuesday. Burnett will host and star in the series and will be joined by a different supporting cast of performers for each week’s program, to be taped before an audience. Williams will be the executive producer.
