Implementing Car Insurance Reforms

It was startling, to say the least, to learn how quickly Roxani Gillespie was able to turn her hat around regarding her support for Proposition 103 now that she has announced her intent to run for insurance commissioner (“Gillespie Now Believes Prop. 103 Can Help Slice Insurance Prices,” Part I, June 18).
Her prior opposition to Proposition 103 and subsequent foot dragging, suggesting a relatively cozy arrangement with the insurance industry, should not be forgotten by the voters.
I do agree, however, that an appropriate no-fault system is long overdue in California.
