A fast-moving fire gutted a Girl Scout clubhouse in Anaheim, causing an estimated $100,000 in damage Sunday night, fire officials said.
The blaze, which broke out about 9:45 p.m. at the unoccupied clubhouse in the 1700 block of Broadway, was put out in about 10 minutes by 16 firefighters, Anaheim Fire Department Battalion Chief Ron Hamric said. There were no injuries.
The fire caused an estimated $75,000 damage to the structure and $25,000 to the contents of the building, Hamric said. The 40-year-old clubhouse was used by the organization for group meetings.
The cause of the blaze remained under investigation, fire officials said.
