David J. Fogarty, an executive vice president of Southern California Edison Co. and its Rosemead-based parent SCEcorp, was named to the additional position of president of SCEcorp’s Mission Group of non-utility subsidiaries.
Fogarty, 62, replaces outgoing President H. Frederick Christie, who retires Aug. 1 after 32 years with the Mission Group and Edison.
Fogarty, who has been with Edison since 1961, has been an executive vice president since 1981.
The Mission Group is made up of four energy-related businesses: a co-generation and geothermal company, an engineering firm, an industrial park developer and a financial services company.
