After viewing NBC’s repeat of “The Taking of Flight 847: The Uli Derickson Story,” I have a question. Was it the intention of NBC and the producers to inflame religious hatred by airing this film? The sequence that showed the hijacker first brutally beating passengers, and then performing ablution and prayer in what was supposed to be an Islamic manner was a new low. NBC should apologize--not only to Muslims, but to all those who stand against flaming the fires of intolerance.
