McDonnell Douglas Plans Houston Plant: McDonnell Douglas Corp. plans to build a new aerospace facility south of Houston to make components for NASA’s space station. The new plant near Ellington Air Force Base will employ 250 people, said Tom E. Williams, with McDonnell Douglas Space Systems in Huntington Beach.
