Rampaging Dogs Shot

CRANSTON, R.I. — Police shot and killed a pit bull terrier Wednesday and wounded a second one after the dogs bit a pedestrian and an officer and chased several other people, officials said. The dogs reportedly chewed their way out of their cage and through a fence at a local residence.
