Dokes Knocks Out Crabtree in First Round

NEW YORK — Heavyweight Michael Dokes, the former World Boxing Assn. champion, knocked out Bobby Crabtree of Fort Smith, Ark., in the first round Thursday night at Madison Square Garden’s Felt Forum.
Dokes, 250, improved his record to 38-2-2 with 24 knockouts.
