* BSD Bancorp, the parent company of Bank of San Diego and two other wholly owned banking subsidiaries, reported a second-quarter profit of $744,000, up from $241,000 for the same quarter last year. For the first six months of the fiscal year, BSD Bancorp’s profit stands at $1.5 million, more than double the $723,000 profit last year.
BSD chairman James S. Brown said all subsidiaries, including Bank of San Diego, have shown earnings improvements over both the second quarter and first six months of 1988.
