Revenue increased 63% to $32.5 million from $19.96 million for the same period a year ago. For the first six months of 1989, Nichols posted net income of $2.1 million, up 40% from $1.5 million for the same period of 1988, while revenue was $62.7 million, up 61% from $38.9 million.
